Tipsforjesus

An anonymous man by the name "tipsforjesus" has been making a name for himself the past few years by leaving extremely generous tips on his dining tabs at restaurants around the country. By extremely generous, I mean like a $3000 dollar tip on a $500 dollar tab. According to the instagram account 'tipsforjesus' this was an actual tip he left on a recent tab.

Occasionally you hear about these type of stories in the news and smile, but as someone working in the hospitality industry you have a little more appreciation for them. And sometimes when a customer is taking a few extra minutes to sign their credit card receipt, you secretly hope that person might be tips4jesus. And when it's not, you might get something like this instead. Not quite tipsforjesus, but a nice gesture perhaps?
